Three employees of the electricity distribution company who were repairing a malfunctioning transformer in the district of Vezirköprü in Samsun were suddenly electrocuted. The three injured workers were taken to the hospital, and it was stated that they had second and third-degree burns on their bodies.

ELECTROCUTED WHILE REPAIRING THE TRANSFORMER

The incident occurred in Karadoruk Neighborhood of the district. Allegedly, the arcs caused by the current during the work to fix the malfunction in the transformer in Karadoruk Neighborhood resulted in the injury of the workers. Citizens reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. After the initial interventions by the health teams who arrived at the scene upon the notification, the 3 injured workers, Kenan Kartal, Recep Bayrak, and Hüseyin Duran, were transferred to Vezirköprü State Hospital.
