A cafe owner in Samsun launched an armed attack on a coffee shop located near his business. It was learned that the incident, in which 2 people were injured, occurred because the cafe owner was angry that the coffee shop was selling toast. ANGRY ABOUT TOAST SALES, ATTACKED WITH A SHOTGUNThe incident took place this evening on Osmaniye Street in the Ulugazi neighborhood of İlkadım district in Samsun. According to the information obtained, Sercan D. (43), who runs the cafe, started selling his toasts to customers at the coffee shop owned by Cengiz K. nearby. After the customers of the coffee shop continuously ordered toasts from the cafe, Cengiz K. bought a toast maker for his coffee shop and started making and selling toasts himself. Angered by this situation, cafe owner Sercan D. rode his motorcycle to the front of the coffee shop and opened fire with a shotgun towards the windows of the coffee shop, firing 2 shots before fleeing the scene. 2 CUSTOMERS INJURED IN THE COFFEE SHOPThe broken glass from the armed attack hit Aydemir K. and Seyfullah T., who were inside as customers, injuring both of them. The injured were taken to Gazi State Hospital and Samsun Training and Research Hospital by ambulances for treatment. A large number of police teams were dispatched to the scene. ATTACKER CAPTUREDThe armed attacker Sercan D. returned to the scene where he had fled on his motorcycle and was caught thanks to the attention of the teams from the İlkadım District Police Department's Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau while watching the police work. Sercan D., who was detained at the scene, was taken to the İlkadım District Police Department for questioning. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
