Following the framework law accepted in the Turkish Grand National Assembly General Assembly with 467 votes in favor, 87 against, and 7 abstentions, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli presented a specially designed plaque to TBMM Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş. The plaque, adorned with classical motifs, bears the phrases 'The Strength of Unity, the Decision of National Will' and 'I present my congratulations and thanks with respect to Mr. Numan Kurtulmuş, Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly.'
Following the framework law vote, which was accepted with 467 votes in favor, 87 against, and 7 abstentions in the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (GNAT), Speaker of the Parliament Numan Kurtulmuş chatted for a while at his seat behind the Presidential Council with MHP Chairman Bahçeli, AK Party Group Chairman Güler, AK Party Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala, AK Party Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik, MHP and AK Party deputy group chairs, and some deputies.
As MHP Chairman Bahçeli was leaving the General Assembly, upon being reminded that the Law Proposal on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Cohesion had been enacted, he said, "May it be auspicious and beneficial."

Meanwhile, it was noted that Bahçeli presented a specially designed painting to Speaker of the Parliament Kurtulmuş, featuring an embossed depiction of the GNAT building and the Parliament's emblem.
The painting, adorned with classical motifs, featured the phrases "The Power of Unity, the Decision of the National Will" and on a plaque in its lower section, "I present my congratulations and thanks to the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Mr. Numan Kurtulmuş, with my respects." along with the date "10.08.2026."
AN EXPRESSION OF APPRECIATION AND THANKS
It was reported that the gift was presented by Bahçeli as an expression of appreciation and thanks for Speaker of the Parliament Kurtulmuş's efforts regarding the Parliament's work and his activities towards the 'Terror-Free Turkey' goal.
It was stated that Speaker of the Parliament Kurtulmuş called MHP Chairman Bahçeli by phone and expressed his gratitude for the painting gift and his support for the Terror-Free Turkey process.
