In Bolu, a university student, 22-year-old Ceyda Öztürk, and her 23-year-old boyfriend Emre Yaman, who lost their lives when the jeep they were in veered out of control and plunged 15 meters off a cliff while returning from a hunt, were laid to rest with tears after funeral prayers. It was learned that the driver, brother Enes Yaman, who was injured in the accident, is continuing his treatment in the hospital.
23-year-old Emre Yaman and his 22-year-old university student girlfriend Ceyda Öztürk, who lost their lives when a jeep went out of control and plunged into a 15-meter ravine after a hunting trip in Bolu, were laid to rest amid tears. PLUNGED INTO A 15-METER RAVINE
The horrific accident occurred last night around 11:00 PM in the Çaygökpınar village of Bolu city center. The jeep with license plate 14 EB 755, driven by Enes Yaman (25), who was part of a group that went hunting in a forested area, went out of control for an undetermined reason on the way back. The skidding vehicle plunged into a ravine approximately 15 meters high.
TWO YOUNG PEOPLE DIED AT THE SCENE
Following the notification, numerous health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the accident site. During inspections by the teams, it was determined that Emre Yaman (23) and his girlfriend Ceyda Öztürk (22), who were in the vehicle, lost their lives at the scene. The driver Enes Yaman, who was learned to be Emre Yaman's older brother, was rescued from the accident injured.
LAID TO REST AFTER FRIDAY PRAYER
The tragic news of the young people who lost their lives in the horrific accident plunged their families and loved ones into mourning. A funeral ceremony was held for Ceyda Öztürk, who was learned to be a 4th-year student in the Coaching Department of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, at Yeşil Mosque in Karamanlı Neighborhood. Emre Yaman was bid farewell on their final journey with tears after the funeral prayers performed following the Friday prayer at Ovadüzü Mosque in Ovadüzü Neighborhood.
OLDER BROTHER'S HOSPITAL TREATMENT CONTINUES
