Metin Balcı, who was hospitalized after falling ill while watching his two-story wooden house burn in flames in the Kula district of Manisa, and later lost his life, was sent off on his final journey. After the funeral prayer attended by the district protocol and his relatives, Balcı was buried in the Kula Asri Cemetery.
Metin Balcı (56), who lost his life in the hospital after falling ill while watching the fire that broke out in his house in the Kula district of Manisa, was buried.
The incident occurred yesterday around 23:30 on 184th Street in Seyitali Neighborhood. A fire broke out for a still undetermined reason in the two-story wooden house belonging to Metin Balcı. Upon the report, fire brigade, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the address. While the fire crews were intervening in the flames, Balcı, who was watching his house burn, suddenly fell ill. Balcı, who received first aid from medical teams at the scene, was taken by ambulance to Kula State Hospital. Balcı, who was taken for treatment, could not be saved despite all the doctors' efforts.
HE WAS SENT OFF ON HIS FINAL JOURNEY
After procedures, Metin Balcı's body was taken over by his relatives and brought to Kurşunlu Mosque. Kula District Governor Talha Altuntaş, Kula Mayor Hikmet Dönmez, Balcı's family, relatives, and many citizens attended the funeral prayer. After the prayer, Balcı was buried in tears at Kula Asri Cemetery.
