TRUMP: PUTIN WANTS TO MEET, WE MUST END THE BLOODY WAR
Answering questions from reporters at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, Trump said:
"Putin wants to meet with me; we are arranging this meeting. President Putin wants the meeting, and he has made that clear. We need to end this war; it is a very bloody war."
Trump's statement came close to the anniversary of the start of the Ukraine-Russia war.
KREMLIN DID NOT CONFIRM TRUMP-PUTIN MEETING
The Russian news agency Tass reported that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the U.S. has not yet officially requested a meeting.
