Trump: Erdoğan has fulfilled the thousand-year dream of the Turks.

Donald Trump, who was elected president in the USA, stated regarding the events in Syria, "Turkey was the winner in Syria. Those who made the revolution were under Turkey's control. This is the thousand-year dream of the Turks, and Erdoğan achieved it."

DONALD TRUMP'S STATEMENT ON SYRIA

The elected President of the USA, Donald Trump, held a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. During the press conference he held with Masayoshi Son, CEO of Japan-based internet and telecommunications company SoftBank Group, Trump announced that the company plans to invest at least $100 billion in its projects in the USA over the next four years. After the announcement, Trump answered questions from the press, making statements regarding the wars in the Middle East and Ukraine. In response to a question about whether the USA has a plan to withdraw its troops from Syria after the recent developments, Trump reminded that the number of US troops in Syria has been reduced by his order.

After the decision to reduce the number of US troops in Syria, Trump emphasized that he received strong reactions but that no negative situation occurred, stating that the USA currently has 900 personnel in Syria.

Trump stated that former Syrian regime leader Bashar Assad was a butcher and that after the massacre of children, the USA struck the Assad regime with 58 missiles, saying, "Obama drew a red line but then did not keep his word.
