US President Donald Trump has issued a new threat against Iran. Trump said, 'I am considering a massive attack on Iran unlike anything before, of unprecedented scale. They haven't suffered enough. I am very close to making a decision. We are fully prepared for it.'

US President Donald Trump has added a new threat to those against Iran. Speaking in an interview with Axios, Trump said he is considering the possibility of a new military operation against Tehran, stating it would be a much larger attack than those conducted so far.

Trump stated, "I am thinking of launching a much bigger attack on Iran very soon, far greater than anything they have seen before. They haven't suffered enough. I am very close to making a decision. Everything is ready."

"WE DON'T NEED ANYONE"

The US President also addressed Israel's support regarding a potential operation. Trump emphasized the US has the capacity to act alone, saying, "If I ask them, Israel will join in two minutes. But we don't need anyone to launch a new operation against Iran."

HE SAID HE IS AT THE DECISION STAGE

Trump noted he has not yet made his final decision on Iran but is very close to the decision stage. The President's remarks came at a time when tensions between Washington and Tehran are rising again and military activity in the region is increasing.

Trump's words have also brought back to the agenda claims that the US is considering a new operation option in response to Iran's nuclear activities and regional military moves. The Iranian side, in previous statements, has announced that any attack on the country will be met with a "harsh and proportionate" response.
