Trump had mentioned that he might come to Istanbul for peace talks.
U.S. President Donald Trump continues his meetings in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which is the third and final leg of his Middle East tour.
Trump indicated that there might be changes in his travel plans after the Middle East tour, signaling that the route is not yet clear due to phone calls he received from some leaders.
"OUR DESTINATION IS NOT CLEAR"
Trump said, "As you know, we will leave tomorrow. Our destination is almost not clear, because we are constantly receiving calls; can you come here, can you go there? I am likely returning to Washington."
"I MIGHT COME TO ISTANBUL"
On the other hand, Trump had recently signaled that he might participate in the negotiations to be held in Istanbul between Russia and Ukraine.
