In a statement regarding his early departure from the G7 summit, Trump said, "I am not returning for a ceasefire," and criticized French President Macron by saying, "He has no idea why I am on my way back to Washington."

White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt announced that U.S. President Donald Trump would leave the G7 Summit in Canada early "due to developments in the Middle East."

Leavitt stated, "President Trump had a great day at the G7 Summit and even signed an important trade agreement with the United Kingdom and Prime Minister Keir Starmer. However, President Trump left the summit after the heads of state dinner due to developments in the Middle East."

WHAT HAPPENED?

On June 13, Israel carried out extensive attacks targeting the military's high command, including nuclear facilities in various cities of Iran.

While the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, the Commander of the Revolutionary Guards, and several senior commanders, along with 9 nuclear scientists, were killed in the attacks, the total civilian casualties were reported to be 224.
