U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the decision regarding Israel's attack on Qatar, which he described as "an unfortunate incident," was entirely up to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump expressed that they were informed shortly before the attack took place, but argued that they did not have "enough time" to stop it.

US President Donald Trump made a statement on his social media account regarding Israel's attack on the Hamas negotiation team in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

"THE DECISION TO ATTACK BELONGS SOLELY TO NETANYAHU"

Trump stated, "To unilaterally bomb Qatar, a sovereign country and a close ally of the US that has made great efforts to achieve peace and taken bold risks, does not serve the goals of Israel or America." Commenting that "This decision was made by Prime Minister Netanyahu, it was not a decision made by me," Trump expressed that they were informed through the US military shortly before the attack.

"IT WAS TOO LATE TO STOP IT"

DESCRIBED ISRAEL'S ATTACK AS "AN UNFORTUNATE INCIDENT"

Describing Israel's attack as "an unfortunate incident," Trump said, "I also spoke with the Emir and Prime Minister of Qatar and thanked them for their support and friendship towards our country. I assured them that such a thing would not happen on their territory again."
