U.S. President Trump responded to the booing of pop superstar Taylor Swift at Super Bowl LIX with sarcastic comments on social media. Both Trump and Swift had come to watch the game in support of the Kansas City Chiefs. However, after the Chiefs suffered a heavy defeat and Swift was booed by Eagles fans, Trump wrote, "MAGA never forgives!"

US President Trump mocked on social media Sunday night about the boos received by Kansas City Chiefs' Travis Kelce's girlfriend and pop superstar Taylor Swift from Philadelphia Eagles fans at Super Bowl LIX.

Trump wrote on Truth Social, "The only person having a worse night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She was BOOED out of the stadium. MAGA never forgets!"

Both Trump and Swift were in the stands at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans to support the Chiefs. The team suffered a heavy defeat of 22-40 against the Eagles.

The 35-year-old "Cruel Summer" singer was quickly booed by the dark Eagles fans when she appeared on the big screen as the game started — this caused Swift to be slightly surprised, but she smiled afterward.

On the other hand, President Trump received enthusiastic applause and cheers when he briefly appeared on the big screen during Jon Batiste's National Anthem performance.

The 78-year-old Trump did not stay long. He had previously predicted that the Chiefs would win, but at halftime — with the Eagles leading 24-0 — Trump left early, but not before making a post on Truth Social.

The Republican commander-in-chief shared a post comparing video clips shared by the conservative provocateur Libs of TikTok, showing the president and his daughter Ivanka Trump applauding as fans booed Swift at the start of the game.

Libs of TikTok wrote over the two clips, "Trump receives big cheers at the Super Bowl while Taylor Swift is booed. - The world is healing!"

Trump made history Sunday night as the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl. Swift had attended last year's game to support Chiefs' tight end Kelce in their victory against the San Francisco 49ers.

Rumors were circulating that Kelce would propose to Swift at this year's Super Bowl, but that did not happen — or if there was such a plan, it was quickly shelved due to the Chiefs' heavy defeat against the Eagles.

Although Trump is not a fan of Swift, he supports her boyfriend's team.

He publicly shared his admiration for Mahomes after the Chiefs quarterback's wife and family members were open MAGA supporters. He was seen taking photos with Mahomes' family members at the Superdome before the game started.

Trump and Swift have been at odds since the singer supported former Vice President Kamala Harris in September — but this feud is largely one-sided, as Swift often ignores Trump's provocations.

Trump complained on Truth Social, "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!" after she supported his Democratic opponent.
