Three people, including a security guard, have died in an armed attack on the largest mosque in San Diego, USA. Police are investigating the attack as a hate crime, while US President Donald Trump called the incident a "terrible situation."

An armed attack was carried out by two individuals on the San Diego Islamic Center in California, USA. Numerous police teams were dispatched to the scene, and the mosque and its surroundings were cordoned off.

A statement from the police was also released regarding the incident. The US police reported that at least three people lost their lives in the attack. It was reported that many people were injured during the attack at the mosque and the school within the center.

POLICE NEUTRALIZED THE ATTACKERS

New details emerged about the bloody attack as the US went on the offensive. Local sources stated that security forces neutralized 2 suspects during the intervention in the attack. It was also reported that the school within the center was evacuated and many children were safely removed from the area. No official statement has yet been made regarding any casualties or injuries at the center, which is San Diego's largest mosque.

Meanwhile, an official from Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego stated that the injured were admitted to the hospital. Sharp Memorial Hospital Spokesperson Alicia Cook said, "Our emergency procedures have been activated, and we are coordinating with San Diego authorities and other resources to respond to the incident."
