U.S. President Donald Trump once again did not hold back in his criticism of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, whom he accused of being a "dictator." Trump stated, "To be honest, I don't think it's very important for Zelensky to participate in the negotiations. Vladimir Putin doesn't have to agree; if he wanted to, he could take all of Ukraine. Zelensky has no leverage."
US President Donald Trump, in an interview with Fox News Radio, evaluated the foreign policy agenda and the Russia-Ukraine War. Trump stated that negotiations that began in Saudi Arabia to end the war would continue and that they would reach an agreement with Russia at some point.
TRUMP: ZELENSKY WAS NOT A PRIORITY
Regarding why Zelensky was not invited to the negotiations in Riyadh, Trump noted that Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent went to Kyiv but had a "wasted meeting" there and regretted it. Trump stated, "To be honest, I don't think it was very important for Zelensky to participate in the negotiations. When Zelensky said he was not invited to the meeting, it was not a priority because he has done a very poor job in the negotiations so far."
"THE START OF THE WAR IS ZELENSKY'S FAULT"
Trump argued that Zelensky could have done many things to stop the war that has been going on for 3 years but did nothing, and he believed that the start of the war was not Russia's fault.
"PUTIN COULD TAKE ALL OF UKRAINE IF HE WANTED"
Trump stated, "Whenever I say 'This is not Russia's fault,' I am criticized by dishonest reporters, but I tell you, both Biden and Zelensky have said many wrong things, and then they were attacked by someone much bigger and stronger. Putin did not have to make a deal; he could have taken the whole country if he wanted. Zelensky has no leverage. You really get tired of it. My patience is running out," he expressed.
