U.S. President Donald Trump ordered the blocking of all oil tankers entering and exiting Venezuela, which they recognize as a "foreign terrorist organization." Trump, who openly threatened the country, stated, "Venezuela is completely surrounded by the largest navy in South American history. This navy will continue to grow and will deliver a shock to them like they have never seen before."
US President Trump once again targeted the Venezuelan government harshly in a post on his social media account.
"THEY HAVE BEEN SURROUNDED BY THE LARGEST NAVY IN HISTORY"
Trump stated that they recognize the Venezuelan government as a "foreign terrorist organization," saying, "Venezuela has been completely surrounded by the largest navy in South American history. This navy will continue to grow and will deliver a shock to them like they have never seen before."
"THE SIEGE WILL CONTINUE UNTIL THEY RETURN WHAT THEY HAVE STOLEN"
Noting that the siege will continue until Venezuela returns all the oil, land, and other assets it claims to have stolen from the US, Trump said, "Therefore, today, I am giving the order to block all oil tankers entering and leaving Venezuela that are subject to sanctions."
Trump, who argues that Nicolas Maduro's government in Venezuela is "illegitimate," claimed that the Venezuelan government is financed by oil obtained from the oil fields "stolen" from them.
"THEY MUST BE IMMEDIATELY RETURNED TO THE US"
US President Trump emphasized, "America will not allow a hostile regime to take our oil, our land, or our other assets. All of these assets must be immediately returned to the United States."
