US President Donald Trump has added another to his series of harsh statements against Iran. Speaking before his visit to China, Trump emphasized that they will not allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons, stating, "They will either make a deal or be obliterated." Trump said he will discuss the Iran file with Chinese President Xi Jinping and also announced that Cuba has requested help from the US.

US President Donald Trump delivered harsh messages towards Iran in statements made ahead of his visit to China. Stating that he will discuss the Iran issue in detail with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Trump said, “Iranian leaders will either do the right thing or we will finish the job.”

Responding to questions from the press, Trump emphasized that they will not allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons, saying, “Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. It will not. They know this and have accepted it. But the proposals they have sent us are not in this direction. We do not play games.”

“WE WILL HAVE A LONG MEETING WITH XI JINPING”

Trump stated that the Iran issue will be one of the main agenda items in his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

In response to a journalist’s question, “What will be your message to President Xi regarding the Iran war?” Trump said, “We will have a long meeting about it. I think Xi has acted relatively well on this matter. China imports large amounts of oil from this region, but there is no problem at the moment.”

“EITHER THERE WILL BE A DEAL OR THEY WILL BE DESTROYED”

Stating that the pressure on Iran continues, Trump argued that the US maintains control over the process.

The US President said, “Either we will make a deal or they will be destroyed. In either case, we will win.”

In response to a question about the economic situation of Americans, Trump said, “The only thing on my mind right now is that Iran does not possess a nuclear weapon. I am not thinking about anything else.”

“WE WILL NOT RUSH ANYTHING”

Trump also made assessments about Iran in an interview with WABC Radio.

Reporting that Iranian officials told him they would deliver enriched uranium to the US, Trump expressed that he is “100 percent” certain Iran will stop uranium enrichment and abandon its nuclear weapons program.

Trump also noted that discussions are ongoing regarding the cleanup of nuclear material at the struck nuclear facilities in Iran.

Saying there is no pressure on him regarding a deal with Iran, Trump stated, “We will not rush anything. We have many cards to play.”

CEASEFIRE COMMENTED AS “ON LIFE SUPPORT”

In a statement at the White House yesterday, Trump said the ceasefire with Iran is very fragile and described Tehran’s latest proposal as “stupid.”

Trump said, “I can say the ceasefire is at its weakest point right now. It is almost on life support.”

“CUBA IS ASKING US FOR HELP”

Trump also addressed Cuba in his statements. In a post on his social media account, Trump said Cuba is requesting aid from the US and announced that they will hold talks with the Havana administration.

Denying claims that some Republican congress members advised him “not to intervene in Cuba,” Trump argued that Cuba is a “failed state.”

The US President said, “Cuba is asking us for help, and we will talk to them.”

In previous statements, Trump had said he wanted to visit “free Havana” before the end of his term and expressed that they would focus on the Cuba issue after Iran.
