Rashid al Ghannouchi to soon return to duties, says political adviser.

Tunisia's Parliament Speaker Rashid al-Ghannouchi has recovered from the coronavirus, his adviser said Friday.

Riyad al-Shuaybi told Anadolu Agency that Ghannouchi, who is also head of the Ennahda Movement party was discharged from the hospital and his health is "very good."

Ghannouchi tested positive for the coronavirus on July 13.

Regarding the demand of some deputies to fill the vacant parliamentary seat, Shuaybi said: "This is a moral and political inferiority that has nothing to do with the law."

He added that Ghannouchi will return to his duty soon.
