The winner of Miss Turkey 2024, who is a 24-year-old graduate of the first medical faculty, is İdil Bilgen. Bilgen, who is 1.80 meters tall, became the target of criticism after the competition. Bilgen, whose number of followers increased rapidly, also responded to the criticisms.

It was revealed that Bilgen is the daughter of Mustafa Levent Bilgen, who serves as Turkey's Ambassador to Kiev, and she also brought up the allegation of favoritism. The young woman, who closed the comments on her Instagram photos, appeared as a guest on Çağla Şıkel's program on NOW TV. The Turkish Beauty, who responded to the comments about her, said, "I am a Turkish woman. I received this title to represent our Turkish Republic. I am very proud of it. While many tragedies such as women and children murders are happening in our country, I ignore the negative comments written to me. These are people who have opinions without being knowledgeable. I don't care about the comments at all," she said.
