In its statement ahead of the 36th NATO Leaders Summit to be held in Ankara, the Ministry of National Defense announced that the Turkish Armed Forces are NATO's second-largest army and one of the world's most effective forces, declaring that with its high combat power, it is the greatest guarantee of both Turkey's and global security.
The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) made a remarkable post ahead of the historic 36th NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government, which will be hosted by the capital Ankara.
In the post shared on the ministry's official social media accounts, the unwavering power of the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) within the alliance and its key role in global military balances were once again showcased.
NATO'S SECOND LARGEST ARMY
Reminding allied nations and the world public of the TAF's deterrence before the summit, the MSB emphasized the army's military capacity. The statement noted that the heroic Turkish Armed Forces, inspired by their glorious history, wage an uncompromising struggle for Turkey's defense, and reminded that the TAF is NATO's second largest army and ranks among the world's most effective military forces.
