He stated that the number of soldiers in Israel is known and that this number creates a disadvantage due to geographical conditions. He pointed out that due to being confined to a narrow geographical area, if Israel were to be attacked from land, the attacking forces could enter Israeli territory.
Turkish Atlantic Council Secretary General Lawyer Emir Abbas Gürbüz, who was a guest on the Altıyedi program at Haberler.com studio, made important statements about Israel's military situation and geographical disadvantages. Gürbüz emphasized that Israel's number of soldiers is known and that this number of soldiers creates a disadvantage due to geographical conditions.
"ISRAEL'S NUMBER OF SOLDIERS IS NOT ENOUGH"
Gürbüz stated that Israel's current number of soldiers becomes a major disadvantage due to the country being confined to a narrow geographical area. He said, "Israel's number of soldiers is known, and this number of soldiers is so confined within a geography that if Israel were to be attacked from the ground, after a certain point, the attacking forces would enter Israeli territory."
"AIR FORCES MAY BE INSUFFICIENT"
Gürbüz also mentioned that in such a situation, Israel would not be able to effectively use its air forces. He added, "Israel will not be able to use its air forces as much as it wants." He emphasized that no matter how crowded the Israeli army is, it is in a disadvantaged position against a motivated attacking force.
"ISRAEL MAY STRUGGLE AGAINST MOTIVATED ATTACKING FORCES"
Gürbüz stated that although the Israeli army is crowded, it can pose a serious threat if the attacking forces are sufficiently motivated. He said, "Even if the Israeli army is crowded with a sufficient number of motivated forces, the attacking forces will have a chance against Israel," highlighting Israel's strategic challenges. He emphasized once again that this situation shows the need for Israel to review its security strategies.
