Turkish Construction Company Dorce Produces Eco-Friendly Villages

Turkish construction firm Dorce Prefabrik has been producing volumetric modular solutions from recycled materials by shortening construction times without sacrificing quality and safety, according to a statement by the company.

The statement said a project called Building Information Modeling will serve net-zero carbon emission and sustainable development targets for the year 2050.

It also said that under the project, the widespread use of renewable energy resources, facility management solutions with digital integrated intelligence, waste management policies for recycling, and modern living spaces that value people are designed based on the priority of health and comfort.

According to data published by the World Green Building Council, carbon dioxide emissions from the construction industry are at the highest level ever recorded and the industry's share of energy-related global carbon emissions is 38%.

The UN-led sustainable goals, the EU's Green Deal, the effect of the circular economy, and technological developments with digitalization led the construction industry to evolve into prefabricated modular steel structures in developed countries, the statement noted. -
