Mevlut Cavusoglu to attend opening of Turkic Council in Budapest over invitation of Hungarian counterpart.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will attend the opening ceremony of the Turkic Speaking Countries Cooperation Council (Turkic Council) in its Budapest office on Thursday.
Cavusoglu will pay a visit to Hungary upon the invitation of Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Peter Szijjarto, the foreign ministry statement said.
Hungary's Prime Minister Victor Orban will receive Cavusoglu to hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts on the margins of his visit.
"With the opening of the aforementioned Office, cooperation between the Turkic Council and Hungary, who obtained observer status at the Turkic Speaking Countries Parliamentary Assembly in 2014, and at the Turkic Council and Turkic Academy in 2018, will continue to develop on institutional basis," the statement said.
The opening will be attended by the foreign ministers of the members of the Turkic Council, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, as well as the observer member, Hungary.
Turkic Council was established in 2009 as an intergovernmental organization, with the aim of promoting comprehensive cooperation among Turkic speaking states. -
