Turkiye's Borsa Istanbul Drops 5% At Close

BIST 100 loses more than 100 points from previous close.

Turkiye's benchmark stock index ended Monday at 1,910.29 points, down 5.02% from the previous close.
Starting the week at 2,004.87 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 100.87 points from Friday's close of 2,011.16 points.
The price of one ounce of gold was $1,839.90 by market close, up from $1,839 at the previous close.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $85.30 per barrel as of 6.30 p.m. local time (1530GMT).
