The incident, which is claimed to have taken place in the open prison in Elazığ, has caused a sensation. It has been reported that during the investigation launched after the incident, all five suspects were apprehended, and they confessed to shooting the prisoner in order to avenge a past murder.

It is claimed that 5 individuals with extensive criminal records arrived in front of the prison with a vehicle during the night and cut through the barbed wires to enter the prison yard and then the cells, where they allegedly showered a prisoner with bullets who had nearly 30 criminal records.
5 SUSPECTS CAUGHT RED-HANDED
According to the news by Saygı Öztürk from Sözcü newspaper, an investigation was immediately launched after the shooting incident with a gun in Cell B-5. It was reported that the identities of the individuals were determined through the examination of the prison's security cameras and that all 5 suspects were apprehended shortly after.
SHOT IN REVENGE
It was learned that Musa Orhan, a 24-year-old with 15 criminal records, who shot the prisoner in the prison, stated that he carried out the act in order to take revenge for the intentional killing incident with a firearm that took place in Elazığ Olgunlar Neighborhood on June 23, 2024.
