INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED

Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç announced that an investigation has been launched into the suspect who physically assaulted the child selling goods on the metro in Istanbul. Tunç stated on his social media account: "An investigation has been initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the suspect who physically assaulted a foreign child selling goods on the metro in Istanbul. Efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the suspect. The investigation is being conducted meticulously. It is unacceptable to subject an innocent child, who is a symbol of innocence, to physical violence for any reason. Xenophobia and racism, regardless of race, color, religion, or language, are incompatible with our values. It should not be forgotten that when a child smiles, the world smiles. When a child cries, consciences cry, and the world cries."
