In the Kepez district of Antalya, an argument broke out between an uncle and his niece who met in front of a notary's office over a land dispute. As the argument escalated, Ömer A. fired a gun at his niece, Amine Bozkurt. The woman, shot in the abdomen, chest, and head, died at the hospital where she was taken. The suspect, who left the area on foot with his wife after the incident, was caught by police shortly afterward. The moment of the murder was captured on security camera.

LAND DISPUTE ENDS BLOODILY
The incident occurred around 15:00 on Sakarya Boulevard in Kanal Mahallesi, Kepez district. According to claims, Ömer A. (63) met with his niece Amine Bozkurt (40) in front of a notary, alleging she had been given 30 meters of extra land during the division.
The conversation between the parties quickly turned into an argument. Ömer A. drew a pistol he had with him and opened fire on his niece.
BECAME TARGET OF BULLETS
Amine Bozkurt, critically wounded by bullets hitting her abdomen, chest, and head, collapsed to the ground, while suspect Ömer A. reportedly left the scene on foot with his wife.
Following reports from bystanders, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. The severely wounded woman was taken to a private hospital by ambulance after initial treatment but could not be saved despite doctors' efforts.
CAUGHT 1 KILOMETER AWAY
Homicide Bureau teams launched an operation to capture the suspect who fled after the incident. During the investigation, Ömer A. was apprehended and taken into custody approximately 1 kilometer from the crime scene.
The suspect was taken to the Homicide Bureau of the Public Order Branch Directorate for processing.

Meanwhile, the moment of the incident and the suspect calmly leaving the area after the attack were captured on a security camera of a nearby business.
The footage shows the uncle and niece talking in front of the notary, then arguing, after which Ömer A. draws his weapon and fires at Amine Bozkurt.
