Yusuf Yalçuva, the Mayor of Kumru in Ordu, has launched an unprecedented incentive to reverse the declining population in the district. Under the incentive approved by the municipal council, families with 10 children will receive a brand-new car, those with 8 children will be offered a job at the municipality, and an additional 50,000 lira will be provided for each child from the third onwards.

The incentives for families with many children have been announced within the scope of the 'Family Incentive Program' launched by Ordu Kumru Municipality. According to the program, an incentive of 50,000 lira will be given for the third child and for each subsequent child. Additionally, families with an eighth child will receive 300,000 lira and a job opportunity at the municipality.

ZERO-KILOMETER VEHICLE FOR THOSE WITH 10 CHILDREN

Within the scope of the program, families with 10 children will be provided with a zero-kilometer vehicle. The program, which came into effect with the Municipal Council decision dated May 4, covers children born after this date, and requires at least 2 years of residence in Kumru district for application.

INCENTIVE FEES WILL BE DEPOSITED INTO MOTHERS' ACCOUNTS

Kumru Mayor Yusuf Yaşçuva stated that as a municipality, they set out with the idea of 'large family, strong Turkey, strong Turkey' and implemented the family incentive program. Mayor Yalçuva said they will provide various incentives to families according to the number of children, stating, 'We will immediately transfer donations of 50,000 lira for the third child, 100,000 lira for the fourth child, and 150,000 lira for the fifth child to their accounts, God willing. Of course, we have some conditions: they must reside in Kumru, and the mother must have a bank account number.'

"OUR AIM IS TO INCREASE THE POPULATION OF OUR DISTRICT"

Mayor Yalçuva noted that they will donate an additional 50,000 lira for each subsequent child, provide 300,000 lira and a job at the municipality to families with 8 children, and gift a zero-kilometer vehicle to families with 10 children, saying, 'We will personally buy and deliver the zero-kilometer vehicle to families with 10 children. The population in Kumru is decreasing day by day, and we wanted to start such a project to increase the population. By giving our awards, we will both contribute to our families and help increase the population in our district.'
