The traditions of the village, which have been practiced for centuries, were followed exactly before the wedding. The groom, Onur Sayar, had his clothes cut first, then a pacifier was placed in his mouth, and he was brought to the bride's house in a wheelbarrow. Here, the groom broke a pot in front of the bride's house and cleaned the scattered soil. Later, as per tradition, an egg was cracked on the groom's head while his friends poured flour on him. Not stopping there, the groom's friends placed a basin in front of the bride's house and washed the groom with cold water and a brush.

The groom, Onur Sayar, who stated that he eagerly awaited the wedding of his single friends, said, "This is a tradition that has been going on for centuries. We do this at every wedding. May God bless our friends. They did not leave us alone on this happy day; we ate and drank together. I thank them very much. In our tradition, we have activities like cracking eggs, pouring flour, breaking pots, and sweeping soil. As the youth of the village, we continue this tradition. These customs happen at every wedding. If my single friends get married, I will do worse to them," he said.

Sait Durmuş noted that the torturous customs performed before the wedding are done to appreciate the value of marriage, saying, "It was like this in the past, and we wanted to continue it today. We made the groom suffer a little. We washed him a bit, cracked eggs on his head, and paraded him in a wheelbarrow. Our purpose in this tradition is to make him suffer before marriage so that he appreciates the value of marriage and has a happy marriage," he expressed.

İbrahim Çetin stated that they wanted to continue the customs that have lasted for centuries as young people, saying, "Today we are very happy; our friend is getting married. May it happen to us too. These are our traditions that have been passed down from the past. We saw these from our elders, and we are continuing them. In the future, the same will happen to me; they can do whatever torture they want to me; these are beautiful things," he said.
After all the customs were fulfilled, groom Sayar took a deep breath, put on his groom's outfit, and picked up the bride from her house. The sweet torture images done to the groom made the viewers laugh.
