Cem Aydın, the Chairman of the CHP Youth Branch, called for urgent action following the referral of Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat to court with a request for arrest. He urged all CHP organizations to gather in front of the Beşiktaş Municipality to express their protest.
As part of the investigation into the criminal organization in Istanbul, 40 suspects, including Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat, were detained on the charge of 'manipulating the tender'. After a 4-day detention period and undergoing a health check, they were transferred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan at 09:00 this morning.
TRANSFERRED TO COURT WITH A REQUEST FOR ARREST
The process of taking statements from the suspects was completed in the evening hours. The prosecutor's office referred 31 individuals, including Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat, to the on-duty Magistrate's Court with a request for arrest. A judicial control decision was requested for 9 individuals.

Following the development, CHP Youth Branch President Cem Aydın made an urgent action call on his social media account, urging all CHP organizations to gather in front of Beşiktaş Municipality to protest. Aydın stated in his social media post: "We stand up for democracy and the will of the people! We call on all our organizations to come together in solidarity in front of Beşiktaş Municipality."
