The U.S. military announced that in an operation against a drug-carrying vessel in the Eastern Pacific, two narco-terrorists were killed and a search effort was launched to rescue six individuals.
The U.S. military announced that it has carried out another attack on a boat identified as carrying drugs in the Eastern Pacific, stating, "In this attack, 2 male narco-terrorists were killed, and information has been provided to the U.S. Coast Guard to initiate search and rescue efforts to find the 6 surviving males."
"NO U.S. SOLDIERS WERE HARMED"
The U.S. military has added another attack to its operations against boats identified as drug smuggling in the Caribbean Sea and Eastern Pacific. In a statement from the U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM), it was reported that the joint task force conducting Operation Southern Spear carried out an attack on a boat belonging to organizations designated as "terrorist groups" under the order of SOUTHCOM Commander General Francis L. Donovan. Emphasizing that intelligence obtained confirmed the boat was carrying drugs on a known smuggling route in the Eastern Pacific, it stated, "In this attack, 2 male narco-terrorists were killed, and information has been provided to the U.S. Coast Guard to initiate search and rescue efforts to find the 6 surviving males." It was noted that no U.S. military personnel were harmed during the operation.
