Turkey’s club Eczacibasi VitrA defeat Itambe Minas to earn their first win in women's volleyball championship.

Turkey's women volleyball club Eczacibasi VitrA beat Brazil's Itambe Minas 3-0 in their second match at the 2019 Women's FIVB Club World Championship on Wednesday.

The Turkish club defeated their Brazilian opponent with 25-17, 25-23 and 25-16 sets in Pool A game in Shaoxing, China.

On Tuesday, Eczacibasi VitrA had lost to Italy's Imoco Volley 3-1 in their first game at the tournament.

The Turkish club will face China's Guangdong Evergrande in their last match of the group stage on Friday.

Top two clubs in each group will advance to the semifinals of the tournament that will end on Dec. 8. -
