Voting To Start In Anadolu Agency Photo Contest On Wednesday

Shortlist of 67 candidates to be voted for Photos of the Year awards.

Voting for Anadolu Agency's Photos of the Year contest, marking the essential events of this year, will kick off on Wednesday.
Photos will be selected across three categories, including news, life and sports, from Anadolu Agency photojournalists or correspondents who have had an impact on the Turkish and world agendas.
Anadolu Agency, Turkey's premier news outlet, held its first Photos of the Year contest in 2012. This year, 67 images were selected from more than 825,000 photos from various parts of the world, including Syria, Palestine, Russia, Canada, and Brazil.
The images were put to a vote in the news category with 26 entries, life with 24 entries, and sports with 17 entries.
Last year, nearly 395,000 people took part in the voting.
This year's voting will continue through Dec. 31 at Anadolu Agency's website at aa.com.tr/photooftheyear
