During inspections conducted by police teams in Eskişehir, a person stopped on suspicion was found to have drug capsules in their stomach during a health check. The 25-year-old S.A., who was taken to the hospital for surgery, was arrested on charges of "drug trafficking" after the capsules were removed.
The items extracted from the stomach of a person stopped by police teams on suspicion in Eskişehir caused astonishment. It was determined that 25-year-old S.A., who came to the city from abroad, had numerous drug capsules in his stomach, and the suspect was arrested after undergoing surgical intervention at the hospital.
SUSPICION ALERTED THE POLICE
Teams from the Eskişehir Police Department stopped S.A., who was determined to have entered Eskişehir from abroad, at the city entrance. The police teams became suspicious when the suspect continuously held his stomach during the control.
44 CAPSULES DETECTED IN X-RAY
During the health checks conducted on S.A. after being taken to the hospital, and in the X-ray film taken, it was determined that there were 44 capsules in his stomach. Upon the instruction of the Eskişehir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the suspect was urgently taken for surgical intervention.
REMOVED FROM HIS STOMACH THROUGH SURGERY
In the examination of the capsules removed during the surgery, it was found that the capsules contained the drug methamphetamine (bonzai).
After completing his treatment at the hospital, S.A. was detained by police teams after being discharged. Following his procedures at the police station, the suspect was referred to the courthouse and was arrested by the court on the charge of "drug trafficking" and sent to prison.
