In the morning operation organized by Bursa Narcotics Police at the Karabalçık North Toll Booths of the Istanbul-Izmir Highway, 830 grams of methamphetamine were seized in packages hidden in the prosthetic leg of H.A., a Syrian national, whose vehicle was stopped on suspicion. The drug dealer's unimaginable stash was captured second by second on police camera.
Teams from the Bursa Provincial Police Department's Anti-Narcotics Branch Directorate evaluated a critical tip-off as part of their intelligence efforts to prevent drug trafficking and transportation. Acting on information that drugs would be brought into the city from outside the province, the teams placed the suspect vehicle under physical surveillance.
OPERATION AT 07:00 AM AT HIGHWAY TOLL PLAZAS
Narcotics police stopped the tracked vehicle at the Karabalçık North Toll Plaza in the Osmangazi district of the Istanbul-Izmir Highway around 07:00 AM in an operation. H.A., a Syrian national in the vehicle, was quickly subdued and taken into custody.
