What will the minimum wage be in 2025? Artificial intelligence also has a prediction.

17.11.2024 12:00

As the rate of the increase in the minimum wage becomes a topic of curiosity, a prediction has also come from artificial intelligence, following parties and economists. In response to the question, "What will the minimum wage be in 2025?" the AI stated, "Based on the expected trends for 2024, an increase of between 35% and 45% could be made. According to these rates, I predict that the net minimum wage in 2025 could be between 22,000 TL and 25,000 TL."

While millions of workers are focused on the expected increase in the minimum wage, the Minimum Wage Determination Commission will meet in December to make its final decision. While different expectations prevail in the public, citizens express that they expect at least a 40% increase due to the year-end inflation target of 41.5% in the Medium-Term Program.

TÜRK-İŞ: WE DO NOT ACCEPT

In a statement regarding the minimum wage increase, TÜRK-İŞ stated, "It is argued that a low minimum wage is necessary for the fight against inflation. The TÜRK-İŞ Presidential Council does not accept this approach. The minimum wage to be determined for 2025 should be set at a level that allows workers and their families to live with dignity according to the economic and social conditions of the day, in a manner compatible with human dignity," it said.

HOW MUCH ARE THE PROPOSALS OF POLITICAL PARTIES FOR THE INCREASE?

It was noted that the political parties in the Parliament have also announced their proposals for the minimum wage increase one by one. CHP, İYİ Party, Future Party, New Welfare Party, and DEM Party provided figures for the minimum wage. The proposals of the political parties in the Parliament for the minimum wage increase are as follows:

CHP: 30 thousand lira

İYİ Party: 28 thousand lira

New Welfare Party: 35 thousand lira

Future Party: 33 thousand 337 lira

DEM Party: 35 thousand lira

MINIMUM WAGE ESTIMATE FROM ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Following economists and political parties, an estimate also came from artificial intelligence regarding the minimum wage increase. Responding to the question, "How much will the minimum wage be in 2025?" the artificial intelligence stated its prediction with the following expressions: Let me share my own prediction regarding the minimum wage. Although the amount of the minimum wage for 2025 will be determined according to the inflation rate and economic conditions, it would be reasonable to think that the government will make an increase to support purchasing power in the face of high inflation.

Based on the expected increase trends in 2024, an increase of between 35% and 45% could be made. According to these rates, I predict that the net minimum wage in 2025 could be between 22,000 TL and 25,000 TL. This is entirely a forecast and may change according to conditions, but with an average increase trend, a figure in this range can be anticipated.
