Numan Karatepe said, "I bought the apartment in April 2025 through a tender. The former property owner was living there. He requested from me that he wanted to buy the house by the end of July. I told him that he could stay in the house for free until the end of July, and if he wanted to buy it at the end of July, he could do so from me."

Karatepe stated that he called the former owner in August because he had not heard from him by the end of July, saying, "He told me that he could not buy the apartment. I stated that I wanted to sell the house and told him that he could still stay for free if he wanted. He said he wanted to leave the house but did not inform me of the date he would leave. The former property owner dismantled and broke the nine doors of the house, the boiler, kitchen cabinets, windows, faucets, and other belongings in the house. I incurred approximately 350-400 thousand TL in material damage," he expressed.
"HE SPOKE TO ME AS IF HE WAS MAKING FUN OF ME"
Karatepe, who stated that he called the former property owner before the incident to ask about the situation, said, "When I called him, he used expressions like, 'I am moving things, I can't leave,' as if he was making fun of me. He said that he still had some belongings in the house and that he would not leave. I showed him tolerance out of goodwill, but his behavior was really sad," he said.
"I FILED A COMPLAINT AGAINST HIM"
Karatepe, who stated that he checked the condition of the house from outside this morning, said, "I saw that the house was destroyed and that no one was living there. I called the police, opened the house with the help of a locksmith, and assessed the damage on-site. For this reason, I filed a complaint against him and we will submit our necessary claims due to the material damages. This situation has really created a special and negative situation for us," he said.
