The Public Personnel Selection Examination (2026-KPSS) Undergraduate Exam General Aptitude-General Culture sessions were held today. The scenes we are used to seeing on exam days were also experienced in this exam. A candidate, late for the exam, ran barefoot holding their slippers in hand, but still could not make it in time. When a citizen waiting at the school gate said, 'What a pity, I really feel sorry,' the person who missed the exam replied, 'It was good exercise.' The Public Personnel Selection Examination (2026-KPSS) Undergraduate Exam General Aptitude-General Culture sessions, for which 1 million 708 thousand 329 candidates applied, were held today by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM).
LATE CANDIDATES WERE NOT ADMITTED TO THE EXAM
The first of the KPSS sessions, held at 145 exam centers in 81 provinces of Turkey and Nicosia, started at 10:15 with the General Aptitude-General Culture test. Candidates were not admitted to the exam buildings after 10:00. The session, which provided a 130-minute answering period for 120 multiple-choice questions, ended at 12:25.
RAN BAREFOOT, STILL COULDN'T MAKE IT
A candidate who was late for the exam ran barefoot all the way to the door of the school where the exam was to be held, but the moment he reached the door, an official signaled with a hand gesture that he would not be allowed in.
The candidate, who was out of breath, also had difficulty putting on the slippers he had picked up to run in.
"IT WAS A WORKOUT"
When a woman waiting for a relative taking the exam in front of the school entrance said, "What a shame, I'm really sorry," the candidate who missed the exam and was left breathless from running was seen saying, "It was a workout, sister."
