President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the opening meeting of the 3rd Legislative Year of the 28th Term of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). It did not go unnoticed that the only party that did not stand up for President Erdoğan as he entered the General Assembly was the Democratic Regions Party (DEVA).

As the new legislative term begins, notable moments have occurred in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). It was a matter of curiosity how the parties would react during President Erdoğan's entrance to the TBMM General Assembly.

FIRST TIME IN 5 YEARS FROM CHP

The CHP and İYİ Party group welcomed President Erdoğan standing during the opening of the Assembly. The CHP group had not stood up for 5 years during the opening sessions of the Assembly to protest President Erdoğan.

DEM PARTY GROUP DID NOT STAND UP

When President Erdoğan arrived at the TBMM, it was observed that only the DEM Party group did not stand up. DEM Party deputies remained seated and followed Erdoğan as he entered the hall.
