A woman who left her motorcycle with a dead battery behind a bus stop on the Tekirdağ-Istanbul highway filed a complaint with the gendarmerie when she couldn't find it in its place when she came to pick it up about two weeks later. As a result of the JASAT teams' work, the suspect who stole the motorcycle was caught.
SHE LEFT THE MOTORCYCLE AND RETURNED WEEKS LATER
According to the information obtained, F.E. (28) left her motorcycle with a dead battery behind the municipal bus stop on the Tekirdağ-Istanbul highway on July 26, 2026. Coming to the same area on August 8, 2026 to pick up her motorcycle, F.E. noticed that her motorcycle was not there and filed a complaint.
JASAT STEPPED IN
JASAT teams from the Tekirdağ Provincial Gendarmerie Command Public Order Branch Directorate, who launched an investigation into the incident, determined during their examinations that the motorcycle was left on July 26 and stolen on July 31. As a result of camera footage and field work, it was determined that the theft was carried out by a person named A.Y. (44).
