Bilal Erdoğan, President of the World Ethnosport Confederation and Member of the Board of Trustees of the Archers Foundation, responded to claims regarding his candidacy for the presidency of Fenerbahçe Club.

''I AM NOT A CANDIDATE FOR FENERBAHÇE PRESIDENT''

Bilal Erdoğan, who was a guest on a live broadcast program on A Haber regarding the Ethnosport Culture Festival to be held at Istanbul Atatürk Airport between May 22-25, announced that he would not be a candidate for the presidency of Fenerbahçe.

In his statement, Bilal Erdoğan said, "No, I am not a candidate. Of course, I want Fenerbahçe to be managed better. We will continue to dream of those days. Our team is the team supported by our President!"

''WE EXPECT OVER 1 MILLION PARTICIPANTS''

Commenting on the upcoming festival, Bilal Erdoğan stated, "We have an increase in participation every year. Of course, more importantly, we ask the participants how it was after each event, and we try to address our shortcomings. We try to get new clues from them. We plan these to do this job better next year. Besides that, we also ask the public. For example, we ask if they know about Ethnosport. Everyone immediately thinks of the festival in Istanbul. Therefore, the awareness of Ethnosport and the Ethnosport festival is increasing, and people enjoy it when they come. We are trying to make the area more compact. We are trying to make it easier to navigate. We aim for people not to walk too much from the metro or bus. We want them to be able to spend the whole day comfortably. These four days are expected to be beautiful days with clear weather. We are trying to create plenty of shaded areas and plan to offer a lot of water to prevent people from getting thirsty. So, on Thursday and Friday, in an area where 300-400 thousand school students come, we generally expect a crowd of around 700, 800 thousand, or even 1 million on the weekend."
