While concerns about the monkeypox virus continue, claims of "Summer vacation will be extended" were made. Minister Tekin stated, "Schools will open on September 9th, postponement is not on the agenda."

The Minister of National Education, Yusuf Tekin, who held a meeting with the Provincial Directors of National Education of 11 provinces in Gaziantep, answered questions about the agenda in a live broadcast.

Minister Tekin, regarding the opening date of schools, stated, "There are speculations about the Ministry of National Education. It is said that the holiday has been extended. Schools will open on September 9th, there is no postponement on the agenda. The seminars of our teachers will start on September 2nd. Our calendar will begin on September 9th."

"THERE IS NO SITUATION LIKE THE REMOVAL OF MID-TERM BREAK"

Answering the question "Will the mid-term break be removed?", Tekin said, "There is no situation like the removal of the mid-term break. The seminars conducted remotely will now be held face to face."

On the other hand, Tekin stated that the Turkey Century Education Model will be implemented in the first grade of each level covering grades 1, 5, and 9 starting from this year, and said, "We have created an education model that the Anatolian people, the whole Turkish nation desires. We have developed a model that is unique to us, that aims to give our children our own values and is also in line with universal principles."
