Due to the snowfall and blizzard that were effective in May at the Ilgar Mountain Pass, located at an altitude of 2,550 meters in the Posof district of Ardahan, many trucks were stranded on the road. Highway teams reopened the road to traffic through salting and snowplowing efforts.
