The trial of the four suspects arrested in connection with the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran in Diyarbakır continues, with a request for aggravated life imprisonment. On the third day of the trial, which began the day before at the Diyarbakır 8th Heavy Penal Court, the detained suspects, uncle Salim, mother Yüksel, and brother Enes Güran, along with Nevzat Bahtiyar, who confessed during the investigation to hiding Narin's lifeless body in the Eğertutmaz Stream, and their lawyers were present at the hearing.

UNCERTAINTY OF THE SUSPECTS ON AUGUST 21

During the hearing on the third day of the trial, which began the day before at the Diyarbakır 8th Heavy Penal Court, former President of the Diyarbakır Bar Association Nahit Eren reacted to all the suspects not clearly remembering many details about the day Narin went missing.

According to Rojda Altıntaş; speaking to the Court President, former President of the Diyarbakır Bar Association Nahit Eren said, "We have reached an important stage in the case. We will work on ensuring that those who did this to Narin, those who turned a blind eye, or those who delayed her finding are punished before justice."

"YOU WILL REMEMBER THAT DAY IN DETAIL"

Reacting to the detained suspects not remembering many details about the day Narin went missing, Eren stated, "Currently, there are four suspects for murder. I believe there may be additions indicating that new perpetrators will emerge in the participation of the murder. The most surprising thing in the case for me is this; perhaps you are losing the most valuable thing in your life, and when you look back, you will remember that day in detail. We say, 'What did I do that day?'"

THE COURT PRESIDENT LISTENED STANDING

The Court President listened while standing, with his hands tied, and Nahit Eren continued his speech as follows:

"Unfortunately, we could not experience the earlier indictment bringing the perpetrators of Narin. I wish the suspicions in the village had been noticed earlier. It was delayed in some way. But as I said, the statements of those around Narin, which they should never forget in their lives, do not match each other for that day."

EVERY EVIDENCE LED TO A NEW STRATEGY

We were in this darkness with this case, but unfortunately, every piece of evidence that emerged led to a new strategy for the family members. During the investigation phase, the authorities know the date Narin went missing as 18:00. That’s why there are 18:00 images on the camera. Why do you say? Because after she was found, the images were re-examined, a red vehicle was identified, and in some way, Nevzat Bahtiyar was identified as the owner of the red vehicle. As a lawyer who has been working on Narin for months, we determined the time the vehicle was seen after Narin left home as 15:40. Narin does not provide definite information.

We know that Narin was killed after 18:00. Why? Because there is a setup. In other words, if it weren't for the random camera of that school at 15:11 while she was heading home, we really wouldn't know where Narin went from where. She is going up the path, and her peers say that Narin waved at her from above. When was this told to us?

Those who know this made an incredible setup for 17:40. Arif Güran should also know; we fought incredibly hard to be aware of everything that entered this case. I did not give a single piece of information from this case to a single journalist. While these suspects were outside, the statements inside were published."

"FATHER TAKES AN INVITATION TO BATMAN, UNCLE IS IN THE VILLAGE"

The complainant's lawyer stated that he was speaking on behalf of Narin, saying, "Yüksel Güran really got up the day before, his son had come from a long journey, he got up in the morning to go collect okra, prepared their breakfast, and the father is taking an invitation to Batman. Think about it, he is taking an invitation to his nephew's wedding in Batman, how valuable is that, but the village head is in the village, what is he doing? He is taking his children shopping, they come back. Well… Let me continue. Narin… I am speaking as the complainant's lawyer, I am speaking on behalf of Narin. You say Enes Güran is at home, okay, but you say he is sleeping, proof? We need someone who saw these while he was sleeping at home. Who? Hediye Güran. If Salim Güran, his wife, and children are telling the truth in their statements in court, there is no chance they did not see that vehicle. When Hediye Güran went home, if Salim is at his own house, what is happening? But the point we have reached is this; Hediye Güran goes, if you left your laundry at 15:00, according to the allegations, Salim is at home at both 15:00 and 16:00. How could this car not be seen?"

"WE NEED TO GET ENES OUT OF THE HOUSE"

Continuing his speech, Diyarbakır Bar Association President Nahit Eren stated:

The organization continues like this: 'We need to get Enes out of the house' is being thought. But Enes is actually inside the house. We have data from a narrowed base station that has scientific significance, maybe we will discuss this. The prosecutor asked. You mentioned the base from Dicle University that Salim provided to Osman Güran. We had an incredible advantage in this case; there is base station data covering the area from Sur, Bağlar to Çarıklı. It receives. So I understood this: Mobility indicates your location according to the changing base. With this case, I understood this: This cell phone is my footprint. I asked many experts, yes, HTS records may not be definitive, but base station data can be considered as a solid scientific piece of evidence.

We have suspicions about who and how Narin was killed. We absolutely believe that the suspects will be convicted. I believe all four are responsible for this murder. Therefore, I think the detention of the suspects should continue.
