Fozi K., a 35-year-old Syrian national, lost his life after his body became trapped in an animal feed machine at the factory where he worked in Diyarbakır. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
A tragic accident at a feed factory in Çarıklı Neighborhood of Diyarbakır's Sur district resulted in a loss of life. In the incident that occurred on the evening of August 6, Fozi K., a 35-year-old Syrian national who was emptying bags into an animal feed machine, lost his balance and was caught in the animal feed machine.
EXTRACTED WITH SERIOUS INJURIES
Colleagues who noticed the unfortunate worker, whose part of his body was trapped in the machine, reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, police, fire department, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The worker, who was extracted from where he was trapped with serious injuries by the efforts of the fire department teams, was taken to the Emergency Service of Dicle University Hospital after initial intervention at the scene.
LOST HIS LIFE IN THE INTENSIVE CARE UNIT
Fozi K., who was taken under treatment in the intensive care unit, could not be saved despite all interventions and lost his life. After the autopsy procedures, the body was handed over to his family and buried with tears, while a comprehensive investigation launched into the incident continues.
