Fans made a striking chant for Habib Keita, who reportedly disappeared after stating he wanted to leave the team at Kocaelispor. The green-and-blacks called on Müge Anlı to find the Malian footballer.
Super Lig team Kocaelispor faced Egyptian representative Zed FC in a friendly match. The match ended in a 1-1 draw. Before the match, Kocaelispor fans had Habib Keita, who has been absent from the team for a while, on their minds.
While it was claimed that the 24-year-old footballer left Kocaeli to go to the person he fell in love with, the fans chanted for Keita from the stands.
"MÜGE ANLI, BRING KEITA HERE"
The green-and-black fans chanted "Keita, where are you, damn you" and then called out to Müge Anlı. This time, chants of "Müge Anlı, bring Keita here" rose from the stands.
SELÇUK İNAN HAD MADE A STATEMENT
Kocaelispor Technical Director Selçuk İnan had also previously made a statement about Habib Keita's situation.
İnan had said, "I want to look at the Habib Keita issue professionally. He is not with us right now. There is a process; apparently he has some unhappiness, as he stated he wanted to leave us."
