The concerts of world-renowned musician Sami Yusuf, planned to be held in Istanbul and Ankara next week, have been postponed. In a statement made on the artist's and Anadolu PSM's social media accounts, it was announced that the new dates for the concerts have been moved to September.
RESCHEDULED DUE TO LOGISTICAL ISSUES
In a joint statement, it was stated that the "Live in Türkiye" concert series was rescheduled due to unexpected and insurmountable logistical challenges. Commenting on the matter, Sami Yusuf emphasized the value he holds for his fans in Türkiye and around the world, stating that they have made great efforts to determine the new dates.
NEW CONCERT DATES ANNOUNCED
According to the announcement, Sami Yusuf will perform at Congresium in Ankara on September 23-24, and at the Istanbul Congress Center on September 27-28. The artist stated that the postponed concerts will take place as planned.
"MAKING THIS DECISION WAS INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT"
Apologizing to his fans in his statement, Yusuf said, "I know this may cause inconvenience for many of you. Making such decisions is incredibly difficult and saddening, but this change was necessary to provide you with the best possible experience."
GAVE A MESSAGE FOR TÜRKİYE
Expressing his joy at performing in Türkiye, the artist said, "I am very happy to still have the honor of bringing four special and intimate concerts celebrating the magnificent cultures of the Silk Road to you on Turkish soil."
TICKETS WILL REMAIN VALID
It was announced that tickets purchased for the concerts planned to be held in June will remain valid for the new dates. It was reported that ticket exchange and refund processes for listeners who cannot attend the concerts will begin on June 22.
