Galatasaray, looking to strengthen its midfield with a star name, is considering the sale of Gabriel Sara to generate resources for a transfer. At the yellow-red club, President Dursun Özbek has also identified the name who will replace the Brazilian player.
Galatasaray, who achieved a historic success by reaching a happy ending for the 4th consecutive time in the Süper Lig, set its sights on both the league championship and successes to be achieved in the UEFA Champions League in the new season. The yellow-red administration has rolled up its sleeves to strengthen the midfield line with a world-famous star in this direction.
GEORGE GARDI STEPPED IN
Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek gave full authority to the famous Italian agent George Gardi to carry out this major transfer operation that will elevate the team. Acting without wasting time, Gardi began official negotiations with the Italian club for Juventus's French star Khephren Thuram, the primary target of the yellow-reds.
NEGOTIATIONS FOR THURAM HAVE STARTED
While the Juventus side opened the door with a high figure of 50 million Euros, the Galatasaray administration entered an intense negotiation process to bring this cost down to 40 million Euro levels. The yellow-reds plan to pay this huge transfer fee in long-term installments if an agreement is reached.
GABRIEL SARA WILL BE SOLD
Following a smart financial strategy to realize this big-budget transfer, Galatasaray approved the sale of Brazilian midfielder Gabriel Sara. A transfer income of 30-35 million Euros is targeted for Sara, who is closely followed by Aston Villa from England and Napoli from Italy. The administration aims to fully finance the Thuram transfer by adding 5-10 million Euros to this hot money coming from Sara.
