Yasmin Erbil described the day her father was taken into custody.

'Illegal gambling encouragement' investigation has resulted in a house arrest decision for singer Serdar Ortaç and presenter Mehmet Ali Erbil.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office appealed the decision on the grounds of "flight risk," but the 15th Criminal Court of First Instance rejected the prosecution's request.

Mehmet Ali Erbil stated that he did not participate in the videos related to the investigation for money, that they were shared without his knowledge, and that he believed they were taken as a memory.

Currently, Erbil can only go to the hospital during his permitted times.

On the other hand, the famous presenter’s daughter, Yasmin Erbil, spoke for the first time about what happened to her father. Speaking on the gossip program titled 'Let It Stay Between Us,' Erbil said, "I was very scared. It was truly the most terrifying day I've ever had. May God never let me experience it again. My father is very upset about this situation. Such a thing will not happen again."
