The incident occurred around 10:00 PM on Pazar Cami Street in Konak Neighborhood. According to information obtained, night watchmen on patrol noticed a person lying motionless for a long time inside a parked car with license plate 15 DZ 797. Upon reporting the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center, police, fire brigade, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED INTO THE INCIDENT
After firefighters opened the vehicle's door, medical teams determined during their check that the person was in life-threatening condition. The young man, who received CPR at the scene, was taken by ambulance to Burdur State Hospital but could not be saved despite all interventions by doctors. Identity verification by police teams identified the deceased as Murat Kaplan (25). Following an examination of the vehicle by crime scene investigation teams, the car was towed to a parking lot.
NO SIGNS OF ASSAULT OR INJURY FOUND ON BODY
According to initial examinations, it was learned that no signs of assault or injury were found on Kaplan's body, while it was reported that the exact cause of death would become clear following an autopsy. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
