The Syrian army announced that the YPG/SDF terrorist organization released ISIS terrorists from a prison in the city of Shaddadi, located in the northeastern province of Hasakah, following the ceasefire. Army units entered Shaddadi and began efforts to capture the ISIS terrorists.

The Syrian army reported that the terrorist organization YPG/SDF has released ISIS terrorists from the prison in the city of Shaddadi, located in the northeastern province of Hasakah.

SYRIAN ARMY TOOK ACTION

In a written statement from the army, it was noted that Syrian forces contacted YPG/SDF through intermediaries to take control of the prison in Shaddadi, but the terrorist organization "rejected this."

The statement indicated that Syrian forces have begun to enter the city of Shaddadi, stating, "After the SDF released ISIS members from the Shaddadi prison, army forces began to enter the city of Shaddadi in the rural area of Hasakah."

SEARCHES ARE BEING CONDUCTED AROUND THE PRISON

It was recorded that Syrian forces would conduct searches in the city of Shaddadi and its surroundings, and would also secure the area around the mentioned prison. It was reported that searches were being conducted around the prison in Shaddadi to capture the released ISIS members.

The statement also held YPG/SDF responsible for the release of ISIS members from the prison in Shaddadi.

Under the Ceasefire and Full Integration Agreement reached yesterday between the Damascus administration and YPG/SDF, it was decided that the ISIS camps under the control of the terrorist organization would be transferred to the Syrian administration.
